BURTON SPINDL SPRING SESSIONS 2010

After a year, BURTON ŠPINDL SPRING SESSIONS is being organized in April 8 to 11 Špindlerův Mlýn again, is the last snowboard event of the season dedicated to all winter sport lovers to say good bye to the local winter season. Four days long photo and video shooting during the day and partying during the night were honored as “event of the year” by the local Board Magazine Awards and also by its visitors in the previous years. 

More than 150 invited riders – snowboarders and freeskiers, media representatives and public from many different countries will meet to ride, shoot and party together. Specially designed snow park by the Snowparkdesign crew will be enlarged and completely rebuilt and reshaped to create extraordinary conditions for all, the best invited riders as well as for public, which can use the full park with no restrictions too. Park will contain several straight and corner kickers, jibs, halfpipe as well as different extra obstacles.

A big step forward, mainly for party animals, is an extra large party tent located right at the end of the slopes. Every day starting Thursday 8th, there are Jägermeister party nights scheduled containing DJs sets and life band performances. On Thursday warm up party, well known DJs Robot and Jorgos will turn the tables to make people dance. Friday and Saturday evenings and nights will host the best Czech “non mainstream” artists such as Fast Food Orchestra, Navigators, PSH, Kapitán Láska, Orikoule, Vladimir 518 and DJs Mike Trafik, Robot and Jorgos.

The event is not a contest or competition, but a riding and shooting session, however best riders will be awarded with special product prizes from partners and organizers after partners and media voting in following categories: best rider, best girl, best rookie and best freeskier. Except the best riders votings, several sessions and contests will be organized, for example Nike 6.0 Trick Survival on the Big Air kicker or Photo contest for all accredited photographers etc.
