BURTON ŠPINDL SPRING SESSIONS After a year, already for the fifth time - BURTON ŠPINDL SPRING SESSIONS event, is being organized from March 31st to April 3 in Špindlerův Mlýn again. The last local snowboard event of the season dedicated to all snowboarders to say good bye to the local winter season. Four days long photo and video shooting during the day and partying during the night were honored as “event of the year” by the local Board Magazine Awards and also by its visitors in the previous years.
BURTON ŠPINDL SPRING SESSIONS is a snowboarding event organized to the end of the local season in Spindleruv Mlyn CZE. In the first April week more than 150 invited riders and 70 media representatives from Czech and surrounding countries meet to ride, shoot and party together.
Free hotel type accommodation directly under the slopes and park, as well as free use of the park chair is ready for all confirmed riders and media reps. The park is enlarged and completely rebuilt and reshaped to create extraordinary conditions for all, the best invited as well as for public, which can use the full park too with no restrictions. Many people from the public come to ride the park with the best local riders or to watch and party later. Park contains several straight and corner kickers, jibs, halfpipe as well as extra obstacles. The Špindlerův Mlýn Ski Resort is the top winter recreational centre in the Czech Republic and the co-organizer of several important sports events each year including National, European and World Cup status events. Comprised of several ski centers, the resort area attracts around 700,000 visitors each winter season. St. Peter is the most important centre for sports events in Špindlerův Mlýn. Snowparkdesign is the only Czech company active in snowparks design, realization, management and maintenance as well as winter freestyle events organization and consulting. Snowparkdesign was founded in 2003 by two riders, snowpark builders and international judges, who were however active in organization of snowboarding events and snowparks since 1998. The track record includes snowparks in more than 20 resorts in the Czech and Slovak Republic and more than 100 events on National, Regional and World cup level.
